The AdrenaMini Standard CMap Pack is a suite composed of Adrena Off + Routing Off + Optima Off software + mini logger + Dongle + 1 CMAP MAX chart MegaWide size.
The OFF versions are full versions of the ADRENA software, but they cannot be connected to the boat’s navigation instruments. The Mini Logger is essentially a black box for boats without a computer system, such as Mini 6.50 or Olympic sailboats.
This version is compatible with all boat navigation systems via an NMEA output and will record a large amount of navigation information (wind force and angle, boat speed, heading, etc.) that can be used back on land on a computer equipped with ADRENA software.
The Mini Logger is coupled with the ADRENA software, allowing for the exploitation of all data, which was previously impossible, representing a real difference compared to existing devices on the market.
Using the Mini Logger
Upon return from navigation, the SD card (with 2 GB of memory) is removed from the Mini Logger, which contains all the data, and is placed in the computer. The data recorded in the black box is imported and loaded into Adrena or Optima. With Adrena Mini Logger, users will be able to create and manage their speed polars. With Adrena Mini Large, you can debrief the training or regatta day by analyzing all phases of navigation (start, laylines, trajectories, wind changes, etc.).
Required Configurations for the Mini Logger:
2 isolated NMEA inputs with automatic speed selection of 4800 / 38400.
1 event input.
1 isolated engine tachometer input.
Recording on 2GB SD card in text format.
Power supply 10-18V.
Consumption < 50mA.
Adrena Standard Version Off Software.
RoadBook.
In preparation for navigation, the navigator must position and annotate specific areas that can be enhanced with overlaid images on the mapping.
The Replay function is an excellent debriefing tool that allows you to replay a race by analyzing the different phases, the chosen options, and the evolution of weather conditions. The calculation of a routing is carried out from a multitude of parameters (polars, wind, current, etc.) and allows you to explore different hypotheses and compare them.
With the scanning of variables (wind, polars, GRIB shift or start), the software allows you to launch several successive routings and check the strength of the route.
